2nd Annual Youth Roundtable Meeting
Meeting to evaluate the first year of the project and gather suggestions from young people for the second year's activities. 15 young people attended.
Within the scope of the Youth Advocacy Activity, the Second Annual Youth Roundtable Meeting was held on September 6, 2025, at the Grand Wonne Hotel in Ankara. Youth rights advocates from six project provinces, namely Ankara, Diyarbakır, Edirne, İzmir, Hakkâri, and Van, participated along with the Uçan Süpürge Foundation project team and Board of Directors.
Sessions
- Following introductions, information was provided on the activities carried out in the first year of the project
- Presentation of targeted activities and outcomes within the framework of youth advocacy and gender equality
- Discussion on identifying problems related to youth rights and proposing solutions
- Gathering suggestions for activities to be carried out in the second year of the project
Local Culture Network
In the final session, the Local Culture Network digital platform, to be established within the project, was discussed. The stories of women who sustain and produce local culture in their own provinces and the problems young people observe regarding gender in the digital environment came to the forefront.
The meeting concluded with the re-establishment of the Youth Selection Committee.
