Screenplay Contest on Women's Rights
A short film script competition open to participants aged 18-30, focusing on women's rights. The two winning scripts earned the right to participate in the short film workshop in June.
A screenplay competition was organized to support short film projects to be produced with a focus on women's rights. The call was published on January 22, 2026, and the deadline for applications was April 19, 2026.
The competition was open to fiction, documentary, and experimental projects that address issues related to women's rights through different narrative and expression forms.

Execution
The competition was carried out within the Uçan Süpürge Foundation and by the team of the Uçan Süpürge International Women's Film Festival. Screenplays were evaluated by experts determined by the festival team.
Result
The results were announced on May 25, 2026. The winners were Sinem Bayraktar with the screenplay titled “Bu Sabah İki Kere Uyandım” (I Woke Up Twice This Morning) and Simge Darbaş with the screenplay titled “Anadil” (Mother Tongue).
The two selected screenplay writers were included as participants in the SANATLA Short Film Workshop held from June 2-7, 2026. Participants had the opportunity to attend the opening and closing nights of the 29th Uçan Süpürge International Women's Film Festival and watch films in the festival program for free.
